Family holidays in Paznaun valley: the options for doing something with your loved ones are virtually endless here. The many hiking trails offer lots of day trip opportunities. Nature can be enjoyed to the full with a picnic afterwards and the view over the valley. Numerous fields, forests and ponds are home to countless animals that can be discovered and watched. Many of the hiking trails can be walked with a pushchair so that even the very youngest can enjoy the Tyrolean landscape.

Hiking

Countless kilometres of hikes and climbs can be explored up the mountains in the Paznaun valley. There’s the right route to climb to the summit for everyone, from easy to difficult. Up the top a unique view over the Silvretta awaits you where the highest peak, the “Piz Linard” is 3,410 metres above sea level. The Paznaun valley is the ideal starting point for hikes thanks to its location between the Samnaun Alps and Verwall Group. The many three thousand metre peaks, impressive glaciers and rustic huts make this part of the Silvretta mountains the perfect day trip destination to explore the outdoors around See.

Mountain biking

Attention biking lovers: there are numerous tours where you can explore the Paznaun valley in and around our wonderful town of See. Besides challenging mountain bike trails, beginners and children can also find suitable tracks to experience their first mountain bike downhills. From classic to Enduro trails, you can find everything to get bikers’ pulses racing in the Paznaun valley, a mountain biking paradise. In between you can top up your energy levels at various mountain huts that indulge you with Tyrolean specialities.

Swimming lake

A swimming lake is of course an absolute must in See. The 7,000 m² See water park with a water depth of up to 5 metres is ideal for swimming and paddling and cools you down sufficiently on hot summer days. With the many lounging areas and plenty of space for sunbathing, the lake promises pure swimming fun with outstanding water quality. Sufficient cooling down in clear water is therefore taken care of.

Motorbike special

There’s not just several routes for bikes operated by muscle power. Motorcyclists can also find varied tours over breathtaking alpine passes, past stunning lakes with the imposing three thousand metre peaks in front of them in the Paznaun valley. Every bend is a highlight on the variety-packed panoramic routes. The Silvretta High Alpine Road deserves a special mention of course. It’s not called the Queen of Tyrolean Motorbike Tours for nothing as sheer endless hairpin bends are combined with the unique panorama of the Silvretta mountains here. A must for all motorbike fans.

Climbing & bouldering

High above the valley at 2,000 metres altitude is one of the best areas for climbing and bouldering. When the sun brings the heat in the summer months, there are pleasant temperatures up here. Together with a magical view, there’s also the first children’s bouldering area in Tyrol here. Paznaun offers via ferratas especially for families, climbing parks and much more too. So it’s the ideal place for the advanced and beginners to discover and pursue their passion for climbing.

Tennis

The ideal holiday destination for ambitious tennis fans. A passionate exchange of strokes surrounded by a fascinating natural backdrop on perfectly prepared outdoor courts. Whether you are a recreational athlete or a professional, make yourself and your opponents sweat on the tennis court. Especially for our guests: as a tennis hotel, our guests have the opportunity to use the tennis court free of charge. The tennis court is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The reception will reserve the court for you. Simply bring your racket/tennis balls from home and off you go.
